According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through April 10, 2014 were 30.7 million metric tons (MMT), 17 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 26.2 MMT.

Net sales of 438,000 metric tons for delivery during the 2013/2014 marketing year were up noticeably from the previous week and 48 percent from the prior 4-week average and above trade expectations of 50,000 to 250,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Brazil (55,000 HRW, 30,000 SRW), Peru (22,000 HRW, 9,100 HRS, 23,500 SRW, 10,000 durum), Egypt (63,000 SRW), Mexico (45,192 HRW, 11,125 HRS, 6,668 SRW), Malaysia (23,563 HRS, 18,025 white), unknown destinations (-33,950 HRW, 79,500 HRS, 5,000 SRW, 3,940 white, -20,000 durum), and Japan (21 HRW, 28,534 HRS, 970 white).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 32.0 MMT.
