According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through March 20, 2014 were 29.9 million metric tons (MMT), 18 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 25.3 MMT.

Net sales of 400,457 MT for delivery during the 2013/2014 marketing year were down less than 1 percent from the previous week and 11 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 250,000 to 500,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Japan (113,284 HRW, -10,000 HRS, 25,415 white), the Philippines (75,492 HRS, 36,068 white), Nigeria (27,895 HRW, 37,066 HRS), Yemen (55,000 white), Egypt (55,000 SRW), and Indonesia (44,648 HRS).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 32.0 MMT.
