According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through November 13, 2014 were 16.2 million metric tons (MMT), 26 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 21.8 MMT.

Net sales of 361,700 metric tons for delivery in the 2014/2015 marketing year were down 13 percent from the previous week, but up 1 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 300,000 to 500,000 MT. Increases were primarily for unknown destinations (12,875 HRS, 15,000 SRW, 62,625 white, 40,000 durum), The Philippines (31,328 HRS, 20,951 white), Japan (31,680 HRW, 14,489 HRS, 5,915 white), South Korea (4,800 HRW, 6,800 HRS, 31,400 white), and Jamaica (24,000 HRS, 18,000 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 25.2 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 65 percent of total projected exports, equal to the five-year average of exports committed by this date.
