According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through November 7, 2013 were 21.2 million metric tons (MMT), 39 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 15.2 MMT.

Net sales of 287,800 MT for delivery in the 2013/2014 marketing year were below trade expectations of 350,000 to 550,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Nigeria (70,787 HRW, 13,980 SRW), unknown destinations (4,600 HRW, 26,100 HRS, 4,000 SRW, 23,000 white), Thailand (16,000 HRW, 20,000 HRS, 14,000 white), Indonesia (22,000 HRS, 18,000 white), and Mexico (-13,850 HRW, 6,813 HRS, 26,499 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 29.9 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 71 percent of total projected exports, up from the five-year average of 64 percent of exports committed by this date.
