According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through November 27, 2014 were 16.9 million metric tons (MMT), 25 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 22.6 MMT.

Net sales of 319,200 metric tons for delivery in the 2014/2015 marketing year were down 26 percent from the previous week and 14 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 300,000 to 500,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Japan (25,000 HRW, 79,863 HRS, 118,032 white, 210 durum), Mexico (36 HRW, 19,790 HRS, 21,000 SRW), Panama (8,530 HRW, 19,950 HRS, 10,173 SRW), South Korea (7,500 HRW, 11,600 HRS, 12,302 white), and The Philippines (7,400 HRW, 22,000 HRS, -1,174 white).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 25.2 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 68 percent of total projected exports, below the five-year average of 69 percent of exports committed by this date.
