According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2010/11 marketing year, through May 26, 2011 were 35.304 million metric tons (MMT), 56 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 22.613 MMT.

Net sales reductions of 29,600 MT for the 2010/11 marketing year resulted as increases for Indonesia (61,000 HRS), Saudi Arabia (57,750 HRW), Nigeria (53,200 HRW), Jordan (48,166 HRW), Egypt (43,997 SRW), South Africa (30,503 HRW, 4,659 HRS), and Guatemala (16,924 HRW, 7,292 HRS, 5,497 white). Net sales of 338,400 MT for delivery in 2011/2012 were mainly for Japan (32,155 HRW, 3,200 HRS, 39,800 white), unknown destinations (50,001 HRW, 3,200 HRS, 5,000 SRW), the Philippines (55,000 HRS), Dominican Republic (6,800 HRW, 8,200 HRS, 34,000 SRW), Mexico (31,250 HRW, 15,000 SRW), and Malaysia (18,000 HRW, 20,000 HRS, 500 SRW, 7,000 white).

USDA forecasts 2010/11 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 34.70 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 102 percent of total projected exports, down from the five-year average of 104 percent of exports committed by this date.
