According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through November 6, 2014 were 15.8 million metric tons (MMT), 25 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 21.2 MMT.

Net sales of 417,700 metric tons for delivery in the 2014/2015 marketing year were up 57 percent from the previous week and 14 percent from the prior 4-week average and above trade expectations of 250,000 to 400,000 MT. Increases were primarily for South Korea (8,227 HRW, 22,079 HRS, 1,979 SRW, 28,043 white), Dominican Republic (23,200 HRW, 11,600 HRS, 14,200 SRW), unknown destinations (8,900 HRW, 30,150 HRS, 27,604 white, -20,000 durum), Guatemala (22,902 HRW, 8,500 HRS, 12,350 white), and El Salvador (14,200 HRW, 13,100 HRS, 2,500 SRW, 12,000 white).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 25.2 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 63 percent of total projected exports, equal to the five-year average of exports committed by this date.
