According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through June 5, 2014 were 6.53 million metric tons (MMT), 12 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 7.41 MMT.

Net sales for the 2014/2015 marketing year, which began June 1, totaled 570,100 metric tons and were above trade expectations of 250,000 to 450,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Brazil (144,600 HRW, 23,000 SRW), Mexico (2,250 HRW, 31,500 HRS, 66,300 SRW), Nigeria (68,845 HRW), Japan (2,000 HRW, 51,295 HRS, 595 white), and Indonesia (47,250 HRS, 1,000 SRW).
USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 25.2 MMT.
