According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through July 17, 2014 were 8.93 million metric tons (MMT), 27 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 12.3 MMT.

Net sales of 443,200 MT fell within trade expectations of 350,000 to 550,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Japan (20,136 HRW, 141 HRS, 72,503 white), Nigeria (401 HRW, 70,945 SRW), Singapore (10,500 HRS, 43,049 white), Brazil (15,150 HRW, 32,129 SRW), Vietnam (40,339 HRS), and Mexico (11,550 HRW, 509 HRS, 24,483 SRW, 400 durum).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 24.5 MMT.
