According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through May 15, 2014 were 31.8 million metric tons (MMT), 17 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 27.1 MMT.

Net sales of 142,200 metric tons for delivery during the 2013/2014 marketing year were up noticeably from the previous week, but down 39 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 50,000 to 250,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Taiwan (12,650 HRW, 27,850 HRS, 13,500 white), Ecuador (11,000 HRW, 27,285 SRW), Brazil (4,650 HRW, 30,000 SRW), Algeria (23,100 white, -971 durum), South Korea (2,200 HRW, 9,900 HRS, 5,500 white), and Venezuela (-80 HRW, -886 HRS, 12,000 durum).
USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 32.3 MMT.
