According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through November 20, 2014 were 16.6 million metric tons (MMT), 26 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 22.4 MMT.

Net sales of 431,500 metric tons for delivery in the 2014/2015 marketing year were up 19 percent from the previous week and 16 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 300,000 to 500,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Japan (42,470 HRW, 46,193 HRS, 25,000 SRW, 18,118 white), Taiwan (25,775 HRW, 47,746 HRS, 10,750 white), Mexico (10,891 HRW, 2,546 HRS, 36,796 SRW), Indonesia (49,500 HRS), and Thailand (9,564 HRW, 24,000 HRS, 13,250 white).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 25.2 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 66 percent of total projected exports, below the five-year average of 67 percent of exports committed by this date.
