According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through July 10, 2014 were 8.49 million metric tons (MMT), 27 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 11.6 MMT.

Net sales of 320,700 MT fell below trade expectations of 400,000 to 550,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Japan (43,806 HRW, 35,044 HRS, 36,265 white), China (40,000 HRS, 20,000 white), Thailand (31,934 HRS, 2,000 SRW, 22,005 white), Nigeria (44,373 HRW, 5,000 SRW), Dominican Republic (16,350 HRW, 2,700 HRS, 8,156 SRW), and Trinidad and Tobago (7,329 HRW, 9,200 HRS, 3,939 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 24.5 MMT.
