According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through April 9, 2015 were 23.3 million metric tons (MMT), 24 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 30.7 MMT.

Net sales of 47,900 metric tons for delivery in 2014/2015--a marketing-year low--were down 85 percent from the previous week and 80 percent from the prior 4-week average and below trade expectations of 100,000 to 300,000 MT. Increases were primarily for the Egypt (57,768 HRW), Ecuador (20,700 SRW), Peru (8,000 HRS, 3,200 SRW), Nigeria (1,511 HRW, 4,943 HRS), and the Dominican Republic (2,677 HRW, 1,909 HRS, 425 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 24.5 MMT.
