According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2014/15 marketing year, through March 26, 2015 were 22.9 million metric tons (MMT), 24 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 30.3 MMT.

Net sales of 162,100 metric tons for delivery in 2014/2015 were up 58 percent from the previous week, but down 54 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 100,000 to 300,000 MT. Increases were primarily for the Philippines (95,000 SRW), Thailand (17,600 HRW, 18,000 HRS, 16,600 white), Mexico (21,727 HRW, 26,361 SRW), Cameroon (17,250 HRS), Ghana (16,250 HRS), and Italy (8,000 HRS).

USDA forecasts 2014/15 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 24.5 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 94 percent of total projected exports, below the five-year average of 99 percent of exports committed by this date.
