According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2015/16 marketing year, through November 26, 2015 were 14.5 million metric tons (MMT), 14 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 16.9 MMT.

Net sales of 392,200 metric tons (MT) for delivery in marketing year 2015/16 were up 29 percent from the previous week and 17 percent higher than the prior 4-week average, and below trade expectations of 250,000 to 500,000 MT. Increases were primarily for China (98,267 HRS), South Korea (6,960 HRW, 16,800 HRS, -7 SRW, 55,410 white), Mexico (9,659 HRW, 123 HRS, 40,000 SRW), the Philippines (4,850 HRW, 18,130 HRS, 7,420 white), the United Kingdom (24,089 HRS), and Nigeria (23,711 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2015/16 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 21.8 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 67 percent of total projected exports, behind the 5-year average of 70 percent.
