According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2015/16 marketing year, through November 19, 2015 were 14.1 million metric tons (MMT), 15 percent lower than last year's year-to-date total of 16.6 MMT.

Net sales of 303,700 metric tons (MT) for delivery in marketing year 2015/16 were down 58 percent from the previous week and 23 percent lower than the prior 4-week average, and below trade expectations of 400,000 to 600,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Mexico (22,037 HRW, 11,432 HRS, 30,147 SRW), Japan (36,254 HRW, 14,074 white), South Korea (6,800 HRW, 13,200 HRS, 5 SRW, 18,600 white), and the United Arab Emirates (25,000 SRW).

USDA forecasts 2015/16 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 21.8 MMT. Commitments to date (of wheat and wheat products) are 65 percent of total projected exports, behind the 5-year average of 68 percent.
