According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through April 3, 2014 were 30.3 million metric tons (MMT), 18 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 25.7 MMT.

Net sales of 41,800 metric tons--a marketing-year low--for delivery during the 2013/2014 marketing year were down 88 percent from the previous week and 90 percent from the prior 4-week average and below trade expectations of 250,000 to 375,000 MT. Increases were primarily for The Philippines (654 HRW, 38,000 HRS, 21,568 white), Mexico (35,328 HRW, 3,287 HRS, 5,252 SRW), Peru (36,380 HRW, 3,981 SRW), Algeria (29,000 durum), Brazil (24,950 HRW), Guatemala (13,142 HRW, 4,050 HRS, 4,644 white, 109 durum), and Indonesia (10,562 HRS, 10,980 white).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 32.0 MMT.
