According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's weekly Export Sales Report, total known outstanding sales and accumulated exports of all classes of wheat for the 2013/14 marketing year, through March 6, 2014 were 29.1 million metric tons (MMT), 20 percent greater than last year's year-to-date total of 24.2 MMT.

Net sales of 476,900 MT for delivery during the 2013/2014 marketing year were down 14 percent from the previous week and 2 percent from the prior 4-week average and within trade expectations of 350,000 to 550,000 MT. Increases were primarily for Nigeria (79,750 HRW, 10,000 HRS), Taiwan (23,869 HRW, 46,250 HRS, 12,900 white), Indonesia (49,500 HRS, 22,000 white), Thailand (12,000 HRW, 18,000 HRS, 20,000 white), Mexico (17,784 HRW, 135 HRS, 28,722 SRW), Japan (1,337 HRW, 23,077 white, 630 durum), and Vietnam (500 HRW, 17,000 HRS, 6,000 white).

USDA forecasts 2013/14 U.S. wheat exports (including donations) to reach 32.0 MMT.
