Durum
This is the last weekly update for the durum harvest. As of October 4, according to the North Dakota Agricultural Statistics Office, harvest was 93 percent complete, compared to 100 percent last year, and the five year average of 95 percent. Grain quality did not change from last week. As of October 9, the average test weight was 61.7 lb/bu (80.3 kg/hl). Approximately 68 percent of the samples received had a grade of 1 HAD. The average wheat protein content was 13.4 percent.
