HRS
Above normal temperatures and dry conditions continued in the hard red spring region allowing for harvest progress. According to the North Dakota Wheat Commission, approximately 85 percent of the HRS crop has been harvested, up 16 percentage points from last week but still trailing the five-year average of 96 percent. The only change in data to note from last week is a slight decrease in total defects. All other parameters are virtually the same as last week. HRS sample collection is complete in northwestern and southeastern Montana, southern North Dakota and almost complete in the southern district in Minnesota.
