Durum
Durum harvest is nearly complete. As of September 21, according to the North Dakota Agricultural Statistics Service office, harvest was 93% complete, compared to 97% for last year and 89% for the five-year average. Average grade maintained 1 HAD. Thousand kernel weight was 38.4 grams, up from last week's 36 grams. Falling number declined to 388 seconds, down from last week's 408 seconds and reflects the damp conditions during late harvest.
