Durum

The durum harvest is beginning to wind down with at least 90% of the crop harvested in Montana and North Dakota.  The crop is averaging 1 HAD.  Thousand kernel weight increased to 35.6 g compared to 34.9 g last week.  Kernel vitreousness declined from 83.0% last week to 81.6% this week.  There was little change in the other quality parameters from last week to this week.
