Harvest Report - October 1, 2010

Dryer weather this week has allowed producers to make progress with the harvest. Approximately 95% of the spring wheat samples have been collected and analyzed for quality.  The majority of the samples to be collected are from Montana where harvest is 65% complete. There has been little change in values from last week. With sample collection almost complete, composite sample analyses for milling, flour and baking properties have begun.
