The 2007 durum harvest continues at a good pace. As of September 2, according to the North Dakota Agricultural Statistics Service office, harvest was 81% complete, compared to 88% for last year and 59% for the five-year average. As of September 6, the average test weight was 59.8 lb/bu (77.9 kg/hl), and moisture was 12.1%. Falling number value was 401 seconds, reflecting rainfall in some areas.
