Durum
As of September 7, according to the North Dakota Agricultural Statistics Service office, harvest was 74 percent complete, compared to 86 percent for last year and 77 percent for the five-year average. As of September 12, the average test weight was 59.9 lb/bu (78.0 kg/hl), up from last week's 59.5 lb/bu (77.6 kg/hl). Protein content was 15.4%, similar to last week's 15.6%. Thousand kernel weight was 35.2 g up from last weeks 34.0 g. The average shrunken and broken kernels were 1.8%, slightly higher than last week's average of 1.6%.
