Soft White harvest has caught up with last year's pace in the Pacific Northwest with Idaho and Oregon being slightly ahead of the curve. This week’s SW samples consist of 52% from east, central, and northeastern Washington and 35% from north, central, and northeastern Oregon. Compared to last week, this week’s sample averages show test weight increased slightly to 60.0 lb/bu (78.9 kg/hl), moisture content remained the same at 8.8%, protein increased by 0.1 at 10.1%, and falling number value increased to 311 seconds.
