The Pacific Northwest wheat harvest continues to be behind in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington compared to last year. The weather in the major wheat producing areas of the Pacific Northwest has been hot and dry.  This week's 57 soft white samples consist of 52% from western, north central, and southeastern Washington, 41% from western, north central, and northeastern Oregon, and 7% from southern Idaho. This week's weighted averages indicated good test weight at 60.6 lb/bu (79.7 kg/hl), low moisture content at 9.6%, low protein at 9.3%, and sound falling number value at 334 seconds.
