Harvest Report - August 15, 2008
HRW
Hard red winter harvest is 90% complete in South Dakota with reports of yields ranging from 50 to 70 bushels per acre. In Montana, harvest has been characterized as being very long and drawn-out. Yields have been between 35 to 45 bushels per acre and protein levels substantially lower than historical averages. Samples from these states are still in the process of being evaluated for quality, thus nothing has changed from the data presented last week.
