Our organization is funded by U.S. wheat producer checkoff dollars managed by 19 state wheat commissions and through cost-share funding provided by USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service.

That commitment takes many forms, such as keeping buyers and wheat food processors informed about crop quality and prices so they can extract the best value possible for U.S. wheat. USW does not buy, sell, or process wheat; we make it easier for everyone else to. Our organization exclusively represents U.S. wheat producers and their state wheat commissions with buyers, millers, bakers and wheat food processors. No annual funding is provided by other commercial interests such as private exporters. Without funding from U.S. wheat producers, USW would not qualify for export market development program support from USDA/FAS.
