USW 2014 Crop Quality Report:

1. Happy Thanksgiving

The fourth Thursday of November in the United States is set aside as a national day of Thanksgiving. This year, the holiday falls on a day when U.S. Wheat Associates (USW) would normally publish “Wheat Letter.” Instead, we will publish the next complete issue December 4, 2014, followed by the final issue of 2014 on December 18.

As U.S. wheat farmers and their families gather together to celebrate this holiday, we want them to know how thankful we are for the hard work they do each year to help fill our plates with healthy, nutritious food. We also want the buyers, flour millers, wheat food processors and consumers around the world who share in the bounty of our wheat fields to know how thankful we are for their trust and trade.
