Every Friday through the U.S. harvest season (May to October), U.S. Wheat Associates (USW) and its partner organizations compile a Harvest Report. It includes updates on crop quality, harvest progress and crop conditions for hard red winter (HRW), soft red winter (SRW), hard red spring (HRS), soft white (SW) and durum wheat.

The HRW harvest continues to advance in the Northern Plains and Pacific Northwest (PNW). The HRS harvest has slowed with only 8% harvested, delayed by unfavorable harvest conditions. The northern durum crop is underway with 2% of the crop harvested. The SW growing region is also experiencing unfavorable harvest conditions with rains and cooler weather. The final 2019 SRW crop report is complete and available online at bit.ly/HR190802.
